The First Annual AG Consulting Partners International Potluck
At AG Consulting Partners, we are lucky to have a highly diverse workforce who bring a variety of different cultural experiences and traditions to the office. To highlight this and give thanks to our incredible employees, AG Consulting Partners hosted its first ever International Thanksgiving Potluck. Each employee was asked to bring their favorite dish from their home country. Overall, AG Consulting Partners employees brought 28 dishes from 12 different countries. Below are some of the highlights:
Alena Papusha:
“I am originally from the Far East of Russia, a city called Vladivostok. I moved to the US four years ago. I decided to make Sharlotka because it reminds me of good old times when I was living with my mom as a kid. She would make that pie almost every week because it was my favorite.”
Daniela Martos:
“I moved to Seattle four and half years ago from Cincinnati, OH. I was born in Venezuela and then moved to the U.S. when I was 10 years old. I will be bringing Arepas. This dish is special to me because it’s something that we eat all the time as a family on weekends and reminds me of my childhood.”
Sujata Harish:
“I moved to Seattle 15 years ago from New Delhi, India. I am a Physics major with an MBA in Marketing. I am bringing Paneer Makhani and Naan bread. My family loves this dish. A rich source of protein, it’s sweet and spicy and is a recipe of a well-known chef in India.”
Peggy Cooley:
“I was raised in Wheaton, IL which is in the far west suburbs of Chicago. I studied music in college. I’ve lived in; Honolulu, HI, Northridge, CA, Eugene and Portland, OR, NYC, NY, Hoboken, NJ (twice), Wheaton, Normal and Geneva, IL. I’m bringing Chicago Style Hot Dogs, one of my favorites growing up!”
