How AG Consulting Partners Builds an Engaged Workforce

AG Consulting Partners is pleased to post this article by Nick Johnson, a Consultant in our Management Consulting Workforce.

Employee Engagement refers to the conditions that motivate people to do exceptional work. Engaged employees strive to go beyond what is expected of them to help their company and clients grow and develop. Some of the factors that drive employee engagement include meaning, autonomy, growth, impact, and connection.

In a study conducted by ADP Research Institute and Harvard Business Review across 19 countries, researchers found that only 16% of employees are fully engaged. At AG Consulting Partners, we conducted a company-wide survey where we found that 95% of employee responses to questions on engagement were positive with “Agree” being the most common response (42%) and “Strongly Agree” being the second most common response (39.5%).

So how does AG Consulting Partners create such a highly engaged workforce?  Well it turns out, it’s all about people.

Community

At AG Consulting Partners, we have a tight-knit community of dedicated consultants. Employees are expected to problem solve together and leverage our collective expertise to exceed client expectations. This connection fuels our business and is a key driver of our success.

Employee Autonomy

Depending on the client engagement, AG Consulting Partners offers flexible working arrangements to allow employees to work from the AG Consulting Partners offices or from home when they aren’t at the client site. This helps to ensure employees can work where they are most productive.

Growth Opportunities

With an abundance of stretch roles and learning opportunities, AG Consulting Partners provides consultants with the tools to launch their career. In our offices, learning is a priority–we subsidize up to $2500 annually for qualified courses and provide optional company-wide trainings.

Recognition and Support

AG Consulting Partners wants to see its employees succeed! Our leadership team is always at our employees’ disposal and our On the Spot Bonus Program recognizes great work when and where we see it.

If you are an entrepreneurial-driven professional, we would love to hear about your experiences and learn how you can make an impact to our growing team. Take a look at our current openings on our Career Opportunities page.
