Optimize partner benefits offering for a global technology company

The Problem

Partner ecosystems in the technology industry are integral in effectively reaching customers, driving engagement and building lasting customer relationships. Partners assist in building businesses around a company’s technologies and products and receive an array of benefits when they do so. A global technology company struggled with its existing partner benefits program and its ability to meet the needs of growing businesses. AG Consulting Partners partnered with the client to provide urgent assistance in optimizing their benefit offerings to meet a rapidly approaching conference deadline.

The Approach

AG Consulting Partners developed a holistic approach to align key partner stakeholders and develop a revised partner segmentation program to identify partner size, type, geography, and program level. Leveraging the new segmentation, our consultants designed an interview guide to assess partners’ perspectives on technical benefits and provided partners a platform to interact directly with the client partner team. Following several rounds of partner interviews, AGCP gathered and analyzed feedback to make program recommendations to senior business leaders and other key stakeholders across the business.

Value Provided

AG Consulting Partners validated the efficacy of the technical benefits approach by accurately representing the partner community and their needs. Our in-depth approach to interviewing partner stakeholders provided real-time feedback from the field to identify program improvements that directly impacted end users. A deep understanding of the partner segment drove successful program deployment on a global scale, effectively solving benefit offering issues and aligning the needs of users with program offerings. Faced with a short deadline, AG Consulting Partners delivered our strategic recommendations for the program and drove deployment in time for our client’s global partner conference.
