At AG Consulting Partners, we are honored to work with a diverse group of people with a variety of talents and interests. This month, we are highlighting Josh Schelberg to learn more about his work and passions outside of the office.
What’s your background? Where did you grow up and go to school?
I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in the suburbs of LA. I left to go to UW to get ready to go to law school but once I graduated, I started to consider other options. After working at Zillow for 10 months I was able to find this opportunity at AG.
Can you tell me about your current project?
I am currently providing project management for a technology client’s partner marketing team.
How are you staying motivated, productive, and sane during this extended period of remote work?
I am trying to focus on the positives of this whole period of time and how I can improve rather than focusing on what I am missing. I can focus more on some hobbies, like playing tennis, learning how to cook new and exciting things, learning about new things, etc. I also just joined AGCP so although work from home has been going on for a while, this still feels very new to me!
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
In college, I studied and lived in Prague for a few months and I loved every bit of it. It has so much history wherever you go, it is a beautiful city and really unique (they have cobblestone streets!), and it really started to feel like home after a few months. The people are very friendly there and it was just a very inviting place with a great atmosphere.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I am a big sports person in general, but I’m mainly a baseball nut. I love all the stats that go along with baseball, I can name the last 25 world series winners, and hopefully one day I can say I visited each ballpark (I have a scratch off poster with each ballpark on it, so far 7 down). Go Yankees!
