At AG Consulting Partners, we are honored to work with a diverse group of people with a variety of talents and interests. This month, we are highlighting Christine Schubert to learn more about her work and passions outside of the office.
What’s your background? Where did you grow up and go to school?
I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Hathaway Brown School for Girls from when I was 2 years old until I graduated high school in 2011. I was on the school’s varsity swim and FIRST robotics teams. I finished my schooling with a degree in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College in California. After graduating, I worked as a technical consultant out of Columbus, Ohio for about four years before moving to WA.
Can you tell me about your current project?
My current project is with a national commercial real estate company. I am working on the design for a new account planning process and creating the functional requirements for system changes to support this process.
How are you staying motivated, productive, and sane during this extended period of remote work?
I have two dogs that keep me busy! I make sure I get some time outside with them to not feel so stuck in the house all the time. I also make time to play games with some good friends from college each week so that I don’t feel as isolated!
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
The best place I travelled to was Kauai. It was one of the only vacations I have been on that was pure relaxation. The weather was perfect and the food was amazing. It was so refreshing and I can’t wait to go back when we can!
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I recently started growing hydroponic plants!
