Jenn Petit, Principal Consultant

At AG Consulting Partners, we are honored to work with a diverse group of people with a variety of talents and interests. This month, we are highlighting Jenn Pettit to learn more about her work and passions outside of the office.

What is your background? Where did you grow up and go to school?

I grew up here in the Northwest and moved to CA for college, graduating from FIDM Los Angeles.  After graduating, I found myself back in Redmond as a Buyer at Eddie Bauer (fun fact – Eddie Bauer corporate offices used to be what is now the Microsoft Visitor Center in building 92). I then started my e-retail career, working at Amazon for almost 8 years & finding my true interests in data analytics and working with code.  After Amazon, I joined Microsoft as an FTE on the SMB team for 3 years before working at a smaller e-retailer (started as ATG, then re-branded as The Mine).  The Mine was purchased by Lowe’s and subsequently closed down, leading me here to AGCP.

What is your favorite part about working at AGCP?

This is my first time working as a vendor and I feel lucky that it has been with AGCP.  The leadership team truly stands behind their values of transparency, stewardship & intention.  The support and comradery that has only strengthened during this time working-from-home, provide a consistent sense of community & stability at AGCP.  I miss getting to meet people from other teams at the happy hours we used to have (in-person).  I look forward to a time when we get to start those again.

Can you tell me about your current consulting project?

Currently, I work with the Americas Microsoft Regional Digital Stores team (US, CA & LATAM) as the US Surface Consumer PMM.  I work alongside three other AG consultants that support Xbox, PCs, Connected Life & Marketplace.  As the Surface Consumer PMM, I provide support to the daily rhythm of the business, ensuring Surface category sales are running smoothly, in-depth analysis, actionable insights, projections, and recommendations across multiple teams.  I also get to be involved with multiple projects such as Microsoft tool/report development, platform migration, and product launches.

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?

Some of the most memorable places I have been to are Iceland, Paris & Gettysburg.  I enjoy visiting places with cultural & historical significance and being able to really experience a place.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?

It would be a toss-up between being Mary Poppins or being Hermione Granger.  Both characters have the ability to complete chores with the flick of a finger/wand.  They can pack for an entire trip in a single duffel bag.  And they have random adventures, daily.  Life would never be boring.

At AG Consulting Partners, we believe in taking care of our people first to enable them to bring their best to every client project.
