Q. What's your background?
A. I studied Criminal Law at Seattle University. I started my career working as a paralegal but learned that the legal field didn’t suit me in the long term. Luckily, I met an AGCP employee one summer who noticed that there was a lot of overlap with her project and being a paralegal. She encouraged me to apply to the availability on her team. I was quickly hired on and have been here ever since!
Q. How do you incorporate a strong work-life balance?
A. I set specific working hours for myself which allows for time in the evening to relax or engage in activities outside of work. I find that sticking to a work schedule during the week promotes more productivity and encourages me to focus on what’s important at the time. I’m also a huge proponent of taking a long vacation at least once a year. It allows you time to disconnect from work and then tackle problems from new light upon return.
Q. What's your background and how did these experiences lead you to your current role?
A. My background is in International Studies and International Development. Before AGCP, I was working with an incubator for social entrepreneurs in Stockholm, Sweden. We advised social entrepreneurs on their budgeting, scaling, and social impact strategies. I really enjoyed the strategy and project management aspects of this job, which naturally led me to consulting where I can continue to develop these skills and work with some incredibly smart, focused, and talented people.
Q. What are you looking forward to most in the upcoming months at AGCP?
A. I’m most excited about all the learning opportunities available at AGCP. I’m a huge believer in lifelong learning, which is what made consulting an attractive career path for me. I hope to use my time at AGCP to improve my project management and data analytics capacities through various projects and certification programs.

Q. What motivates you?
A. I like delivering results on new and challenging opportunities. I also really enjoy listening to inspirational speakers—I particularly like James Whittaker who originally stems from Microsoft. His speeches are a never-ending source of motivation and provide some practical uses for improving public speaking. I hope to see one of his talks in person sometime soon!
Q. How do you think AG Consulting Partners’ people-first mission enables you to better serve your clients?
A. The people-first approach promotes self-development by encouraging employees to innovate, learn, and achieve more. Giving employees a sense of ownership over their projects increases their ability to continuously deliver better results.

Q. What motivates you?
A. Providing value to the people that I work with is a huge motivator for me. Being able to use my skills and experience to make my clients’ and my coworkers’ lives easier drives me to continue to learn and develop other skills.
Q. Why did you join AG Consulting Partners?
A. What drew me to AG Consulting Partners is the casual atmosphere and the start-up environment. Everyone really works together to help the company grow and be the best it can be. Input from employees is truly valued and encouraged. It really feels like your work makes a difference.
Glen is a Disney, soccer, and video game enthusiast with a knack for Project Management. He grew up in South Korea and has an MBA in addition to his Bachelor’s in Animation. On the weekends, Glen likes to relax by taking his Jeep Wrangler into the mountains and camping with close friends.
Q. What project are you currently working on?
A. Right now, I’m working in video games. Our team manages the business analytics for an Online Digital Store. We analyze sales to determine where performance is weak or strong and determine why that is.
Q. Where’s your favorite place to travel?
A. I would have to say Okinawa in Japan. It’s similar to any tropical island, but it feels like it’s stuck in the late 80s or early 90s because of the architecture and the type of cars people drive. They also have that simple, laid back island lifestyle that is so refreshing.
Q. What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
A. Set long-term goals for yourself. Don’t ask yourself what you want your next position to be, but rather the position beyond that—where you want to be in two steps. It’s important to have a long-term vision if you’re going to achieve your career goals. Your current position should be helping you reach that next step.
